Frequently Asked Questions

Do we have to bring our own snorkel/dive equipment?

No, we provide fins, snorkels and masks on board. Feel free to bring your own if you are comfortable with your own gear.

When is the best time  to book?

The earlier tours tend to have better wind conditions. As the day progresses, winds pick up but this does not affect what wildlife we'll see.

What is your cancellation policy?

We have a strict 48-hour cancellation policy. To receive a full refund, you must cancel or reschedule 48 hours prior to tour time. We will issue a full refund or reschedule if we call due to rough weather.

How close can I get to the wildlife?

NOAA rules & regulations state viewing distance is at least 10ft (3 meters) from sea turtles. Please follow guide's instructions for more details with other wildlife.

What if we don't see any turtles on the Turtle Canyon Snorkel?

If you do not see any turtles from land or underwater, we will refund  or reschedule to another day.

What if we don't see whales on the Whale-watching tour?

Since we have no control over the ocean and the swim patterns of the whales, there is no guarantee for a whale sighting.

What if I do not know how to swim?

We highly recommend learning to swim, and practice using a mask and snorkel before coming onto the tour to maximize comfort and enjoyability.

What happens when we are late?

To respect other customer's time, we can wait up to 10 minutes past tour time before pushing off the dock. Tardiness counts as a no show, no refund.
